I am a qualified Life Coach, Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Trainer with a special interest in anxiety relief.
I trained as an Integrative therapist which means that I use a combined approach of specific elements of various theoretical orientations. I take the view that no single theoretical approach can comprehensively cover the complexities of human behaviour when considering the wide range of personalities and problems. Therefore using an Integrative approach allows me to tailor our sessions to fit your individual needs and personal circumstances, drawing from the wealth of models and techniques available.
My background is working around the world in health and wellbeing for 30 years’ as a fitness professional and body worker providing therapeutic treatments including reflexology and various forms of remedial massage. This holistic view – that the mind and body are integrated and inseparable – then led me to study and qualify in talking therapies as a Life Coach, Counsellor and Psychotherapist specialising in anxiety relief.
This holistic view allows me to support you to make a better mind-body connection which is pivotal to good mental health.
Continuing Professional Development
I continue to invest in my professional development through regular supervision, further studying and regularly attending courses. This enables me to stay abreast of the latest information and ways of working with my clients, to create the ability for change and to find new and more productive ways forward.
